Gallery walks are a great way to have students share their thoughts and give them new perspectives on topics of study or discussion. In our gallery walk we created diagrams comparing our own personal images of bullies, the bullied and bystanders. It was a great way to see what other people thought about this subject. It was also a great way for everyone in the class to share their opinions in a large group setting. My favourite part of the activity was the open-ended nature of the task since it allowed students to share their thoughts using images, words or even verbally. I would like to try a gallery walk again using technology and have students post thoughts into a forum or shared photo wall.
